Burglaries in Ellicott City, Columbia, Elkridge: Howard County Crime Roundup

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Ellicott City: Burglary

A laptop and a GPS were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a garage at a residence on the 2600 block of Golf Island Road. There was no sign of forced entry into the garage. The burglary was reported at 8:13 a.m. on Thursday, June 23.

Video game systems, a laptop and cologne were stolen from a residence on the 5600 block of Waterloo Road. The suspect or suspects got inside after forcing open a door. The burglary happened sometime between 10 a.m. and 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 23.

Electronics and jewelry were stolen from an apartment on the 11300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway. The residence was also ransacked. There were no signs of forced entry. The burglary happened on Thursday, June 23.

Columbia: Burglary

Clothing and a television were stolen from a residence on the 9600 block of Basket Ring Road. The residence was also vandalized. The suspect or suspects got inside by unknown means. The burglary was reported at 3:19 a.m. on Friday, June 24.

Columbia: Break-in attempt

No entry was made during an attempted break-in at a residence on the 6500 block of Fire Cloud Way. The suspect or suspects tried to get inside by prying front and rear doors. The attempted break-in happened sometime between Monday, June 20, and 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 23.

Clarksville: Burglary

Electronics, cash, jewelry and other items were stolen from a residence on the 6500 block of Evening Shadows Court. The suspect or suspects got inside after breaking a glass panel next to a door, then reaching inside and unlocking the door. The burglary happened sometime between 7:15 p.m. and 9:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 23.

Elkridge: Burglary

Two bicycles were stolen from an open garage at a residence on the 7400 block of Cedar Grove Lane. The burglary happened sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 23.
