Ellicott City: Vehicle Theft
A Cadillac DTS was reportedly stolen from the 9000 block of Baltimore National Pike at about 6:30 p.m. on July 27.

A silver Honda Accord was reportedly stolen from the 6300 block of Orchard Club Drive at approximately noon on July 27.

A suspect attempted to steal a Honda Accord from 6800 Iron Ore at approximately 7:30 a.m. on July 27.
Elkridge: Attempted Break-In
At approximately 3:30 a.m. on July 27, an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry to a residence on the 6600 block of Deep Run Parkway by prying a side window.
Columbia: Vehicle Theft
A Mercedes SUV was reportedly stolen from the 10900 block of Swansfield Road at approximately 9 a.m. on July 27.
Columbia: Break-In, Arrest
Calvin Marquise Patterson, 25, 5288 Eliots Oak Road, Columbia was charged with fourth-degree burglary and trespassing after he gained entry to a residence on the 5500 block of Green Dory Lane by opening its rear sliding glass door. Patterson was still on location when officers arrived at approximately 11:48 p.m. on July 27.
Laurel: Attempted Robbery
A victim was walking to his vehicle on the 9700 block of Covered Wagon Drive when an unknown suspect approached him, displayed a gun, and demanded money. After the victim showed he had no cash, the suspect fled on foot. The incident allegedly took place at approximately 1:30 a.m. on July 28. In connection to the alleged crime, police are searching for a thin black male who is about 5’10" tall, and who has a short haircut. The suspect was wearing a black bandanna over his face, a gray short-sleeved shirt with a red, white, and yellow logo on the front, khaki pants, and dark sunglasses.
Woodstock: Break-In
An unknown suspect allegedly stole jewelry and a jewelry box from a residence on Dutchess Way after gaining entry to the place by breaking a glass panel next to the door, reaching in, and unlocking it. The incident is said to have taken place July 27, at approximately 4:20 p.m.
Marriottsville: Break-In
At approximately 11 a.m. on July, 27, an unknown suspect allegedly broke into a residence on the 11800 block of Ramsburg Road by kicking in its rear door. A television, a handheld video game system, and jewelry were reported stolen following the incident.
Marriottsville: Break-In
An unknown suspect stole a television, a laptop, a video game system, and jewelry from a residence on the 2000 block of Saint James Road after gaining entry to the place by forcing open a basement door. The suspect allegedly ransacked the home in the process. The incident allegedly took place between 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. on July 27.
Marriottsville: Break-In
An unknown suspect allegedly ransacked a bedroom on the 1700 block of Henryton Road after gaining entry by forcing open a rear door. Nothing was reportedly stolen. The incident allegedly took place between about 7 a.m.-6 p.m on July 27.
