Break-ins Across the Region: Howard County Crime Roundup

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Elkridge: Vehicle Theft

Shortly before 8 p.m. on Sept. 19, a silver 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass with MD tags SGC774 was stolen from a residence on the 6300 block of Old Washington Road.

Elkridge: Break-In

Between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sept. 19, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 8000 block of Keeton Road, stealing medication, cash and change.

Columbia: Break-In

Between Sept. 15 and Sept. 19, an unknown number of suspects forced open the rear window of a residence on the 7300 block of Better Hours Court, stealing jewelry, a laptop and a tablet computer.

Columbia: Break-In

Shortly before 11 a.m. on Sept. 19, a witness observed unknown suspects break a window and enter a residence on the 9400 block of Ridgeview Drive. Officers responded and arrested three suspects on the scene–one 18-year-old man from Columbia and two undisclosed juveniles.

Columbia: Break-In

Between Sept. 12 and Sept. 19, an unknown number of suspects entered the garage of a residence on the 6100 block of Waiting Spring, stealing a bicycle.

Jessup: Commercial Robbery

Shortly before noon on Sept. 19, an unknown suspect approached an employee at the Royal Farms on the 8600 block of Washington Boulevard, displayed a gun and demanded medication. After the employee complied, the suspect fled into a wooded area. Police said an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
