Break-in at Ellicott City Store: Howard County Crime Roundup

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Ellicott City: Commercial Break-In

Shortly before 5:30 a.m. on August 19, an unknown number of suspects forced open the front door of Pine Orchard Sunoco, on the 10200 block of Baltimore National Pike, entering an office. Police said nothing was reported stolen.

Jessup: Commercial Break-In

At 5:13 a.m. on August 18, neighbors of Calton Truck Service, on the 7900 block of Old Jessup Road, alerted the business owner of suspects near the business. The business owner detained the suspects and arriving officers found stolen property on the suspects. Police arrested the two suspects, both Baltimore residents, but did not disclose any charges.

Woodbine: Break-In

Between August 16 and August 18, known suspects forced open the front door of a residence on the 2900 block of Jennings Chapel Road, stealing clothes, a gaming console and jewelry. Police did not specify how the suspects were “known.”
