Bond Set for 22-Year-Old Accused of Having Sex with Ellicott City Teen
Police say the two met on Facebook.
A South Carolina judge set bond today for a 22-year-old man accused of having sex with a 15-year-old Ellicott City girl.
Greenvilleonline.com reports bond was set at $25,000 for Fernando Garcia Resendiz of Greenville County, S.C. He is currently being held in the Greenville Detention Center.
The 15-year-old girl met Resendiz on Facebook. Police said the two talked online and on the phone before Resendiz and his brother drove to Ellicott City and picked her up.

She told police she had been living with Resendiz, who she called her boyfriend, in Greenville County for about 10 days.
He was arrested in late November and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor, committing a lewd act on a child under 16 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
