Attempted Break-in at Maryland School for the Deaf

Police have reported one residential break-in and one attempt at a school this week in Ellicott City.

Sometime between 4 and 10 a.m. on Monday, an unknown number of suspects entered an unlocked apartment on the 3100 block of West Springs Drive, according to police, and stole keys from the sleeping victim. The suspect then stole the victim's vehicle.

At the , on Old Montgomery Road, police say someone unsuccessfully tried to pry open a cafeteria door at the loading dock sometime between Friday night and Sunday afternoon.

Also on Sunday, a blue Honda CRV was stolen from the 3100 block of Sonia Trail, according to police. The car's license plate number is: MD 561M760.
