Last night after enjoying a delicious dinner at the "Trolley Stop" (My fave place to eat in Ellicott City) my husband and I decided on such a beautiful evening to head down to Illchester to sit by the river at twlight. Many others had the same idea too as many people were still out and about in Illchester at 8pm which is about time we arrived . Swimmers in the Patapsco, people on their bikes riding down River Rd and beyond and even several photographers such as my self visiting Thistle Mill capturing some more shots before it is gone. Demolition of Thistle MIll unfortunately is proceeding at a rapid pace now(I will miss the old mill when it is gone , but have heard they intend on saving the oldest sections of the mill) It was a beautiful evening with the temperatures down too and the wonderful sounds of mid to late summers bull frogs, buzzing bugs and the sounds of the CSX train go by (Of course CSX is a daily occurance as I never tire of seeing and hearing those awesome freight trains.
