The Enchanted Forest evokes memories for so many of us growing up here in MD that I wanted to share some of my photos I have taken recently beginning with the Castle that still remains at the former entrance to the Enchanted Forest and continues to be a landmark for shoppers at The Enchanted Forest Shopping center along Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City. The Enchanted Forest opened in Aug of 1955 where admission was just $1.00 for adults and .50 cents for children back in those days and after many years of being open closed in the 1990s. The good news though is that The Enchanted Forest continues to live on today over at Clarks Elioak Farm Ellicott City where most of the Enchanted Forest pieces were moved too and todays children coming up can continue to enjoy The Enchanted Forest as many of us did when we were children.
