Escape...Locally

You don't need to venture far from Ellicott City for a great escape.

Located on Main Street, the Obladi Hotel is the only hotel in Ellicott City's bustling Historic District. At a time when small, family-run hotels are almost a thing of the past, the Obladi Hotel is going strong.

Opened in fall of 2010 by T. Garland and Zan Wilson, the Obladi Hotel is in a newly renovated historic building dating back to the 1830s. The hotel’s purple exterior is just one of the many decorator accents, including black and white checkered flooring, spacious patio, and a family style dining room table.

The is a home away from home, which is in walking distance of all that Ellicott City has to offer. Located practically next door to the , the Obladi is just across Main Street from the and a variety of unique shops, including .

Each of the rooms is named after one of the Beatles. Will you stay in the Paul room...or Ringo? Hotel guests can partake of the comfortable gathering space, kitchen, and garden. The room rate for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday is $180/night, with rooms going for $200 on Friday and Saturdays.

Stay on Wednesdays for the midweek special rate of $150.

Planning an event in Ellicott City? Need a place to host overnight guests? The Obladi Hotel can be rented for $1000 per night, which includes exclusive use of all four guest rooms, gathering space, gardens, and kitchen.
