Almond: Cat of the Week

This cat comes with her very own luxurious coat.

After the inauguration earlier this week, coats are the talk of the town!

From the beautiful Obama ladies to Jill Biden, a stylish winter coat is the new must have item. It’s nice to see that Washington finally caught on to this craze.

I’ve been rockin’ the snazzy coat thing for years. I have this beautiful, one-of -a-kind, almond fur coat.  Wait, don’t call PETA! It’s OK, I’m a cat, I’m allowed to have a fur coat.

I’m Almond, named for the beautiful color of my coat. Like many of the cats here, I have a rags to (almost) riches story. That story will be complete when I go home with you.

I was found pregnant along with my two sisters. They were a great help in raising my litter. I’m proud to say all of my beautiful babies found homes, but sadly I am still here.

Please stop by Small Miracles today and take me home! You will love me and my soft, warm almond coat!

Small Miracles is a nonprofit, no-kill cat and dog shelter in Ellicott City. Each week we will feature a cat that needs a home. If you happen to pick up one of these lovelies, post a picture and let us know! Visit the Cat of the Week blog to see which cats have been adopted and which are still looking for a home.
