Tony Leon Stewart, age 68, a resident of Columbia, Maryland, died peacefully on Nov. 08, 2013, at Howard County Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Earnestine M. Stewart, his son, J’Mahl A. Stewart (Katryn D. Stewart), and his four grandchildren. Tony loved golf, cars, and spending time with friends, family, and strangers alike. He could make anyone a friend in a matter of minutes, and was always quick with a cheerful hello. Tony was a loving husband, a proud father, and a joyous “Granddaddy”. He will always be remembered and greatly missed. Please join his family in honoring him and remembering his life on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Bridgeway Community Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the charity of your choice in Tony’s memory.

Emily W. Thomas, the wife of the late Robert W. Thomas and mother of Stephen, the late Robert Jr., and Lawrence E. Thomas, died on Nov. 5. She was 93.

William W. Mebane died Nov. 7. He was 79.

Irene Helen Rudnicki died Nov. She was 87.

Erna W. Whaler died Nov. 11. She was 97.

George Wilfred Tudor, of Ellicott City, died Nov. 4. He was the husband of Karen Tudor and father of Robert William Tudor, Amy Liann Tudor and Michael Thomas Dolce. He was 68.

Austin Francis Iovine died Nov. 5. He was 14.

Thomas F. Murphy died Nov. 9. He was 75.

John Charles Kal died Nov. 10. He was 82.

Lawrence 'Larry' Joseph Davenport, of Severn, died on Nov. 4. He was the husband of Agnes Davenport and father of Louis Davenport and Jalish Mahmud. He was born in Clare, Iowa in 1930. He served as sergeant in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. After being discharged in 1959, he worked for various insurance companies before operating his own. He was married to his wife Agnes for 60 years, after meeting her in 1953. Davenport was 83.

Richard 'Dick' F. Kreiner, the husband of Helen and father of Richard Jr., David, John, Nancy, Chrissy and Andrew died on Nov. 4 at the age of 79.

David Earnest Pearson, of Stevensville and formerly of Lansdowne, died Nov. 10. Pop, as he was called, was the husband of Mayellen and father of Debby, Danny, Donnie, Brian, David and the late Dennis Pearson. He was 76.

Marjorie Carolyn (McGaugh) Mattocks, of Elkridge, died on Nov. 10. She was the wife of the late Kenneth G. Mattocks and the mother of Jean, Jay and Jim Mattocks. She was 86.

Melvin L. Szarek, of Baltimore, died on Nov. 10. He was the husband of Arlene Szarek, and father of Denise Brooks, Vanessa Smith and Glenn Szarek. He was 86.
