Registration Open for Winter Arts Classes at the Center for the Arts

Registration has begun for Howard County Arts Council’s (HCAC) winter educational programs at the Howard County Center for the Arts in Ellicott City. HCAC offers classes and workshops for ages three to adult. Winter arts programs, open to the public, begin January 27. Classes range in duration from six to eight weeks.

Winter classes for children include Saturday Art Studio and Fun with Sculpture for ages 5–12; a Valentines Workshop for ages 3-11; and Drawing for Tweens for ages 10–13. For Teens (ages 14+) and adults, offerings include Drawing & Composition, Beginning and Intermediate Watercolor, and a two-day Mosaic Basics Workshop. Weekly drop-in sessions for drawing and painting from portrait and life models are also available.

Registration and full class listings are available on HCAC’s website, www.hocoarts.org. Class brochures are available for pick-up at the Howard County Center for the Arts; requests for a brochure via the mail should be directed to 410-313-ARTS (2787). Howard County Arts Council programs are subject to minimum and maximum numbers of students; early registration is recommended.
