Neighbor Ride Volunteer Orientation

Neighbor Ride is a volunteer-based nonprofit dedicated to decreasing isolation and improving the quality of life for Howard County seniors by providing transportation for health care appointments, cultural and social activities, volunteer commitments, shopping, fitness and language classes, religious services and other personal needs. Volunteering is flexible and rewarding; and daytime, evening and weekend opportunities are available. Volunteer drivers simply choose to provide rides that fit their schedules and are convenient to their homes, offices and daily routines. NO SET SCHEDULE IS REQUIRED. Parent volunteers may bring their children along for a wonderful inter-generational experience.
