Moby Dick! The Musical on March 5, 6, 7 at 7:00pm and March 8 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm.

Performances are appropriate for all ages and open to the public. Tickets are

$10 and can be purchased at www.glenelg.org/performing.

Moby Dick! The Musical tells the story of an all-girls boarding school,

St. Godley’s School, in financial peril.  In order to save their precious home, the

girls put on a wacky rendition of Herman Melville’s classic Moby Dick.  Parts are

assigned and they quickly get to work on their “big fat fundraiser.”  They tell the story of Captain Ahab and the
crew of the Pequod’s search for the great white whale, Moby Dick.

Cooper Taylor,
who plays the cross-dressing captain says “I auditioned for the role thinking it was going to be a comedic character through
and through, but I was immediately proved wrong.  The role has some moments that are epically

emotional and it is very mentally draining. 
All in all, it is an amazing role and I am psyched to have it as part of
my repertoire.”

In this show,
audience members can expect to see excited performers, great costumes, awesome
set pieces, brilliant music, and humorous characters.
