Kinetics Dance Theatre presents Jack & the Giant

SHOWS: 11:00am  and  1:00pm

On Saturday, March 15th, as part of its
annual Family Concert Series, Kinetics Dance Theatre will premier Jack & the Giant.  Featuring all new original choreography by
Artistic Director Lauren Snyder, the production puts a fresh twist on the
classic beanstalk tale.  The company will
present Jack & the Giant in
two performances at Howard County Center for the Arts’ Black Box Theatre.

Adults and children of all ages will love meeting Jack
and all his fellow townspeople— Jack and Jill, Jack Frost, Jack-O-Lantern, and
Jack Sprat (to name a few!).  That is, of
course, except for the sly Jumpin’ Jack Flash, who swindles Jack and serves as
our delightfully mischievous and virtuosic villain.   Add creative
sets, a soft-hearted, hip-hop dancing Giant, and masterful performances in
modern dance, tap, and hip hop by our company of professional dancers and the
result is an entertaining arts experience to be shared by the entire family.  And a hint—children may wish to brush up on
their favorite dance moves as there just
might
be an opportunity to interact with our performers on stage…
