At 11:00 a.m., MG Gloria Lambert will present a “Vegetable Gardening for Beginners” class.  This class will teach novice vegetable gardeners several ways to create a vegetable garden from scratch, where to locate the garden, how to do a soil test and interpret the results, the best vegetables to grow in central Maryland, and care of the garden through the gardening year.

At 12:00 Noon, MG Jerry Kissel will teach a class on “Sustainable Organic Vegetable Gardening”.  Jerry will explain the principles of organic gardening, how you can use these principles in your own garden, and how organic methods will contribute to the sustainability of your garden.  Organic gardening has many benefits and is friendly to the environment and your health.
