Ukelele & cello concert

Victoria Vox (ukelele and vocals) and Katie Chambers (cello) will perform at the Howard County Historical Society Museum on November 16, 2012 as part of the ongoing museum concert series.

Ms. Vox has played the ukelele at a variety of venues in the U.S. and Europe since 2006. She was artist in residence at the Strathmore Performing Arts Center in Bethesda, Md. in 2009, the same year she formed a partnership with Katie Chambers. Ms. Chambers studied music at the University of Maryland and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and has played with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets are $20 per person, $18 for members of the Howard County Historical Society. The doors to the museum will open at 7 p.m. with the concert starting at 8 p.m. to give the public a chance to tour the museum beforehand. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the historical society. Light refreshments will be served. Free parking is available at the nearby Circuit Court House parking lot.
