Naturalist Show and Tell

Would you like to meet other like-minded nature enthusiasts? Would you like to share what you’ve discovered outdoors? Do you have questions about what you see and hear outside? The Natural History Society of Maryland has the answer!

We’re starting a monthly ‘Naturalist Show and Tell’ program where anyone can stop by to meet other outdoor people and share your discoveries.  It will also be an opportunity to ask our naturalists for help identifying a plant, insect, bird, etc. If feasible (and ethical!), bring in your mystery item. You can also bring photos, images on your phone, or files on a thumb drive.

Don’t have something to share? We’d also love to chat with you about your particular interests and learn about the types of field trips and classes you’d like us to offer in 2013. We’re looking to expand our offerings for all skill levels and highly value your feedback.

In the spirit of sharing, we’ll also have different items on display from the Society’s diverse natural history collections.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
