Fifth Annual Cupids and Canines

With Valentine’s Day approaching and puppy love in the air, Camp Bow Wow locations across the nation will once again act as matchmaker for humans seeking their furry, four-pawed soul mates. Camp Bow Wow, Columbia, is holding its 5th Annual Cupids and Canines Adopt-a-thon at
the Enchanted Forest Shopping Center in Ellicott City, M.D. More than 15 rescue groups and shelters from the Mid-Atlantic region (MD, DC, VA, DE) are registered to participate in this year's event along with their adoptable pups searching for their own forever homes. Money raised with benefit the rescue groups and Camp Bow Wow's Bow Wow Buddies Foundation.

Participants are also asked to join us in our Cupids and Canines' Hurricane Sandy Relief Drive by bringing new cat or dog food to go toward displaced families with pets and shelters, registered to receive support through Camp Bow Wow, Lacey, such as the Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter in New Jersey. We are also collecting additional new or like new items such as blankets, dog sweaters, treats, bedding, toys, water bowls, leashes, collars, and toys. (However, food is most needed.)

Partner: The event is hosted by Kimco Realty Corporation and sponsored by the PETCO Foundation. In addition, Sherry Kendall of Waggin Tail Portraits Company is also participating. Oprah featured Kendall in her December issue of O the Oprah Magazine on her annual list of recommended gifts. Waggin Tail is auctioning a chance to win a 16 X 16 custom portrait of the winner's pet. This is an event you do not want to miss!
