Beauty and the Beast Junior

Ellicott City, MD —-    The Ellicott Mills Middle School Drama Program invites you to "“Be our guest” and step into the enchanted world of Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR. 

Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR. is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Seventy young actors from EMMS will grace the stage in this magical production.The production is directed by Todd Hochkeppel. This is Todd’s 7th  year directing shows at EMMS.  Todd Hochkeppel has prepared the young actors to help you suspend disbelief and step into the enchanted world of Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR. Featuring songs from the Academy-Award winning animated feature, this stage version includes music by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.
