Gallery I: A biennial multi-media juried exhibit, Art HoCo 2013 features 57 works by 39 Howard County artists. Fahimeh Vahdat, Chair of Visual Arts at Howard Community College, served as the juror for the exhibit.
Gallery II: Complex Transformations matches Allie Rex’s mixed-media creations of mylar, paint, ink, vinyl, and pins with Eric Standley’s amazingly intricate cut paper designs and Alice Whealin’s ink on acetate drawings. The combined effect is a riotous blend of pattern, texture, and color that delights the eye and mind.
A reception for both exhibits will be held on November 8 from 6-8pm.
