4th Annual Suicide Prevention Symposium

There are 38,000 Americans who die by suicide annually. Unfortunately, deaths by suicide are increasing, and if you don't know someone who has died by suicide, chances are you will one day. National Suicide Prevention Week is September 8-14 and the Grass Roots Crisis Center sponsors a Suicide Prevention Symposium to educate and raise awareness about suicide and suicide prevention. Learn about the warning signs and factors that put someone at risk of suicide. Learn what to do when someone you know is suicidal. Hear from survivors of suicide loss about coping with the tragedy of suicide. The event is free and open to anyone, but you must register with Tamara Van Newkirk at tamara@grassrootscrisis.org

Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK
(8255) if you or someone you know is in crisis.
