Whiz Kids: Girl Scout Troop 1929

The young ladies are teaching kids that recycling can be cool.

Key to Awesomeness: These three freshmen of Senior Troop 1929 received the highest recognition for a Cadette Girl Scout in the United States: the Girl Scouts Silver Award. The award was for their project "Be Cool: Recycool!," which taught children about recycling. The project includes a website and a game called Recycling Rhythms which is now being used by the Howard County Recycling Coordinator for summer camp and school presentations.
