Weekend Weather: Relief in Store, Rain Too

NWS is forecasting a mild weekend.

Temperatures are coming down this weekend, but clouds are rolling in too. 

The National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts sunny skies and a high of about 88 degrees today. There’s a 30 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms after 5 p.m. today and a 60 percent chance later in the evening when temperatures drop to the mid-60s

Saturday will be partly sunny with temperatures in the low 80s, according to NWS, and there’s a 30 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. No rain in the forecast for Saturday night, when temperatures drop to the mid-60s.

Sunday’s temperatures are expected to peak at 79 degrees. There’s a small chance of rain during the day and over night, when temperatures drop tot he mid-60s.

Temperatures will remain mild heading into next week, according to NWS; Monday’s high should be in the low 80s.
