Week Ahead in Weather: Sun is on the Way

Monday's rain isn't expected to last, according to the National Weather Service.

We’re in for another beautiful week – if we can make it through today. 

The National Weather Service is forecasting occasional showers today and rain, including possible thunderstorms with gusty winds in the evening. Temperatures should reach the low 70s during the day and drop to 48 tonight. 

Tomorrow begins a stretch of sunny weather, with clear skies and temperatures reaching just the mid-60s. Tuesday night temperatures should drop to the low 40s.

Wednesday is mostly sunny again with temperatures hitting the high 60s during the day and dropping to the high 40s at night with partly cloudy skies.

More sun is in the forecast for Thursday with highs of about 70 during the day, dropping to the mid 50s at night.

Friday brings a 30 percent chance of rain with temperatures reaching about 70. Friday night will be mostly cloudy, still with that threat of rain, and temperatures in the mid 50s.
