Week Ahead in Weather: Fall Fake-Out

It won't last for long, but the week is starting out with fall-like weather.

Back-to-school shopping, rain, temperatures in the 70s -- it's almost looking like fall this week.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a high temperature of just 75 degrees today with patchy fog and a good chance of rain today and tonight, when temperatures drop to the low 60s. 

Temperatures should rise a bit Tuesday, with highs in the low 80s according to NWS. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain throughout the day. At night, temperatures drop to the mid 60s

The sun will return Wednesday, according to NWS. But even with partly sunny skies, there’s still a 30 percent chance of rain. Temperatures should reach the mid 80s, dropping to the mid 60s over night.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, no chance of rain so far, according to NWS, and a high temperature in the mid 80s. Temperatures will drop to the mid 60s at night.

Summer-like weather returns Friday, with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-to-high 80s.
