Weather Alert: Rain, Flooding on the Way

The National Weather Service is predicting hazardous weather this weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for central Maryland, including Howard County.

Due to heavy rainfall, NWS has issued a flash flooding watch for Howard County. There’s a 40 percent chance of rain in Ellicott City today, and an 80 percent chance of storms Saturday, when we could see more than a half-inch of rain.

More rainfall is possible during the thunderstorm downpours, so keep an eye out for flooding along the Patapsco and local streams.
