Warm Temperatures and Rain this Week in Ellicott City

Here's the week's forecast courtesy of the National Weather Service.

You can probably leave the sweater at home this week, but keep an umbrella handy. This week we can expect showers, maybe even a thunderstorm or two, and warm temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

There’s a 40 percent chance of rain Monday, maybe thunderstorms in the afternoon. Otherwise, temperatures should reach the high-70s. Monday night expect mostly cloudy skies and a 30 percent chance of rain with temperatures in the mid-60s. 

Temperatures will jump to the high 80s Tuesday, and skies should be sunny during the day. Clouds will gather at night when temperature drop to the high-60s.

There’s a slight chance we’ll see rain and thunderstorms Wednesday. Otherwise expect partly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-80s during the day, dropping to the high-60s at night. 

Thursday there’s a 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms and temperatures should reach the low-80s, dropping to the mid-60s at night when there’s a 40 percent chance of rain.

Temperatures cool down a bit Friday, with highs in the high-70s. There’s a 40 percent chance of rain during the day and temperatures will drop to the high-50s at night.
