Turf Valley 'Circus' Continues: Ellicott City Today

There’s a 60 percent chance of rain after 1 p.m., and the National Weather Service (NWS) reported that it’s definitely going to rain this evening. The high is 48 and the low is 42 in Ellicott City today, according to the NWS.

Ellicott City resident Marc Norman will be appealing plans for development near Turf Valley today. The hearing is at 6:30 p.m. in the George Howard Building.

At a previous hearing on the issue in May, the  the meeting turned into a "'circus'" when the testimony went in an unexpected direction.

Speaking of theatrics, on this day in 1988, Phantom of the Opera opened at Majestic Theater in New York, according to the New York Times. It is the longest running opera on Broadway.
