Things to Know about Ellicott City Today: June 23

Head into the day a little more informed.

There's a chance of rain again today, but just 40 percent. Otherwise the National Weather Service is forecasting partly sunny skies with a high temperature reaching 88 degrees.  

The Howard County Joint Retirement Plan Committee is meeting today at 1:30 p.m. in the . For more information about the Committee and today's meeting, call the office of Human Resources at 410-313-2033.

The Howard County Charter Review Commission is also meeting today at the at 9 a.m.

There may be some lane closures on Centennial Lane today. The County is scheduled to begin a construction project to reconfigure the parking lot and driveways near Centennial High School and Burleigh Manor Middle Schools. There will be a signal installed on Centennial Lane and a new driveway between Waterford Drive and Century Drive.
