Head into the day a little more informed

The National Weather Service's forecast for today includes temperatures near 90 degrees and partly sunny skies. There's also a 40 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. Tonight temperatures are expected to drop to 70 degrees. We may see more rain in the evening, mostly before 10 p.m. 

There's no parking on Main Street from 4 a.m. until 12 p.m. today. Crews will be sweeping the streets in advance of , a weekend, outdoor painting festival sponsored by the .

Tonight the Sunset Summer Concerts series brings classic rock band Uncle Jack to (South entrance, 1000 Rt. 108). Bring a blanket or a chair and pack the cooler -- or buy food onsite. Canoes and paddleboats will also be available for rent. The show starts at 7 p.m. If the weather looks iffy, call 410-313-4665 before heading out. A $3 donation is requested.
