Temperatures are climbing again. The National Weather Service is forecasting a high temperature near 92 degrees today with clear, sunny skies. Temperatures will drop to the low 70s overnight.
Howard High School needs a volunteer nurse for its 9th grade overnight, which is less than 10 days away. The Howard County Public School System requires a nurse during a summer field trip. If interested, call 410-313-2867.
The Howard County Council is meeting tonight and scheduled to vote on several issues, including a bill that would give a property tax credit. For a full list of pending legislation, check the Council's website.

The Soil Conservation Board is having a picnic tonight to celebrate its Cooperator of the Year: Howie Feaga, Merry Acres Farm. The picnic, at the farm, is open to the public and $15 for adults, free for kids 10 and younger. The farm is at 3807 Walt Ann Drive. Call Soil Conservation at 410-848-7987.
