Things to Know about Ellicott City Today: July 18
Head into the day a little more informed.
The temperature is climbing again. The National Weather Service is forecasting a high temperature of 93 degrees today with clear, sunny skies. There's a 30 percent chance of rain tonight, when temperatures drop to the low 70s.
Starting today College Avenue will be closed at Ross Road for a construction project. Traffic will be directed to Montgomery, New Cut and Bonnie Branch Roads, so there may be a bit more traffic than usual on those this morning. The County will be reconstructing a retaining wall along College Avenue and removing and reconstructing the roadway. The project should be done by late August.
