Things to Know about Ellicott City Today: July 15

Head into the day a little more informed.

We're in for another beautiful day. The National Weather Service is forecasting high temperatures near 85 degrees with clear, sunny skies. Tonight temperatures should drop to the mid-60s.

Starting Monday College Avenue will be closed at Ross Road for a construction project. Traffic will instead be directed to Montgomery, New Cut and Bonnie Branch Roads, so there may be a bit more traffic than usual on those roads. The County will be reconstructing a retaining wall along College Avenue and removing and reconstructing the roadway. The project should be done by late August.

The weekend is here and it's going to be sunny, dry and warm for a change. If you're planning on hitting the road, you might want to fill up at the , 8300 Baltimore National Pike. It's the cheapest in Ellicott City right now at $3.679 for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline.
