Things to Know about Ellicott City Today: July 11

Head into the day a little more informed.

Remember yesterday's weather? That's just about what we're in for today. The National Weather Service is forecasting clear, sunny, skies with temperatures reaching about 93 degrees and light, southwest winds. Temperatures should drop to the low 70s tomorrow with more clouds filling the sky.  

The two right lanes of U.S. Route 29 northbound will be closed at MD Route 99 while crews patch the road. Lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. daily until about July 22.

The Zoning Board is meeting for a River Hill Nursery-related worksession today. On the agenda is a reclassification for 12165 Clarksville Pike from residential to business. The meeting is in the at 5 p.m.
