Things to Know about Ellicott City Today: July 1

Head into the day a little more informed.

The weather is on a roll! The National Weather Service is forecasting another sunny day, with a high temperature near 86 degrees and a mile, north wind.  

Bowling is patriotic, apparently.  Today through July 4 you can bowl one free game at the Ellicott City Brunswick Zone. The offer is good at other locations, too, including the Brunswick bowling alley in Columbia 

After 30 years of serving students from from around Howard County,  in Elkridge may shut down for good today; however, the school's attorney  that "conversations are ongoing" and declined to comment as to whether it would definitely be closed today. The Norbel summer camp, which was supposed to run through July 22, will not take place beyond today.
