Puppies and Politics

Kathy Midkiff brought a friend with her as she made a final attempt to connect with voters.

Though only one of them was allowed to vote, Midkiff and her pooch both wore Jim Wilhelm garb, hoping to get some extra votes for the Republican challenger in the 3rd Dist. congressional race.

Midkiff made clear, however, she was campaigning for many reasons, one of which inculded unseating the incumbent, Rep. John Sarbanes.

"I'm for term limits," she said. "I don't think our founding fathers had that in mind, for these to become career positions."
