Owings Mills 'Batman' Appearance Cancelled Because of Aurora Shooting

A Chicago-area children's hospital cancelled Owings Mills resident Lenny Robinson's appearance as Batman in the wake of the Aurora, CO, shooting.

A visit to a Chicago children's hospital by Owings Mills resident Lenny Robinson, who made headlines in March after he was pulled over wearing full Batman garb, was cancelled in light of the Aurora, CO, shooting, according to Jalopnik.com.

The Robert H. Laurie Children's Hospital in Chicago cancelled Robinson's visit, scheduled for Friday, July 27, saying it might upset children and parents in the wake of the recent shooting during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Colorado that left 12 dead and 58 wounded.

Robinson remains committed to lifting up sick kids' spirits through his portrayal of Batman.
