For New Year’s Eve in the Baltimore metro area, the company has available its “personal driver service.” A driver will come to your house, and drive you in your own car to your destination.

The fee is $24.50/hr. Call to make reservations: 1-877-U-B-MYDD (1-877-823-6933)

AAA also offers these tips for ensuring a safe night out, any night of the year:

  • Always plan ahead to designate a non-drinking driver before any party or celebration begins.
  • Never ride as a passenger in a car driven by someone who has been drinking alcohol – even after just one drink.
  • Use mass transit or call a taxi. (Please note: the Tipsy?Taxi! program in Baltimore will not be operating this year.)
  • If you encounter an impaired driver on the road, keep a safe distance and ask a passenger to call 911 (or pull over to a safe location to make the call yourself).
  • Visit PreventDUI.AAA.com for impaired driving facts, transportation alternatives and expert advice. AAA encourages visitors to Take the Pledge to drive drug and alcohol-free.
