Have you seen flooding in your area Tuesday? Tell us in comments.

Flooding is imminent or already has been reported in some areas, according to NWS, which writes in its warning that "stream rises will be slow and flash flooding is not expected." Regardless, NWS warns people should keep an eye on small streams, highways and particularly underpasses.

Floods are most dangerous to drivers; according to NWS, as most flood-related deaths happen in vehicles. "Just one foot of flowing water is powerful enough to sweep vehicles off the road," NWS warns.

"When encountering flooded roads," the NWS statement reads, "Make the smart choice ... turn around ... don't drown."

Oh no, I did not even think of that! I love fall, but could really do without the winter.
