More Animals Looking for a Home

Cats not your cup of tea? Here are some pups looking for love.

Laura Nelson has been rescuing dogs from a high kill shelter in West Virginia.  The shelter is in a remote area with not much foot traffic so they are forced to put down dozens of homeless dogs each week. Nelson does not own a a rescue organization, but tries to pull as many as she can and bring them to foster homes in Maryland in an effort to cut down on the number of dogs euthanized.

All of the dogs are wonderful, with terrific personalities, she said. They are all spayed or neutered and up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested negative and have been receiving monthly heartworm and flea and tick preventatives. Adopt one of these pups today! They all just want to be loved.

If you can offer one a forever home or are interested in fostering Nelson can be reached at laurabnelson@gmail.com or  (410) 274-0442.
