Light Snow, Mild Temperatures in Howard County this Week

Here's a look at the National Weather Service's forecast for the week.

We may see more snow this week – beginning Monday – according to the National Weather Service (NWS), but temperatures should pick up as the week goes on and we’ll be close to “spring-like” weather by the end of the week.

There is a chance of snow showers Monday mostly after 4 p.m. until very early Tuesday morning. Otherwise, skies will stay cloudy and temperatures will peak in the mid-30s, dropping to the mid-teens over night.

Skies should stay cloudy Tuesday, with temperatures in the high-30s. Tuesday night, there’s a chance of more snow showers and temperatures will drop, slightly, to the low-30s.

The sun returns Wednesday, and temperatures will hit the mid-40s, dropping to the mid-20s at night.

Thursday, again, mostly sunny with temperatures reaching about 40 degrees, dropping to the mid-30s at night.

Friday may bring more rain or snow showers, but temperatures will reach the mid-to-high 40s during the day, dropping to the high-20s at night.
