Heavy Rains Expected, Flash Flood Watch Issued for Howard County

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Howard County and most of Maryland until 6 p.m. this evening as a line of possible thunderstorms moves into the area this afternoon.

NWS reported the storms are expected to produce moderate to heavy rainfall and possible wind gusts throughout the afternoon. Between one to three inches of rain is predicted.
