Not much has changed in the forecast. Today should be clear and sunny, according to the National Weather Service, with a high temperature near 47 degrees. A few clouds tonight, when temperatures drop to about 31 degrees.
The Alpha Ridge Landfill is closed today, and there's no trash pickup today. For the rest of the week all trash, recycling and yard waste collection will be one day later than usual. For more information on the holiday collection schedule, check here.
Don't expect to get too much official business done. The MVA is closed today, reopening tomorrow; and the county government, library and other facilities are also closed. for a complete schedule of county facilities and when they will open.
