From Windstorms to Snowstorms, More Hazardous Weather in Howard County

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning.

Just when it was starting to feel like spring, the National Weather Service is calling for a serious blast of winter tonight.

A winter storm warning is in effect, starting at 9 p.m. NWS is forecasting a bit of sleet, followed by snow overnight. The snow could get heavy at times, and by tomorrow morning, we could have up to 8 inches, according to NWS.

The heaviest snow is forecast for 1 – 5 a.m., when temperatures are expected to drop to the mid 20s, and northeast winds will reach up to 20 mph.
