Frankenstorm Doesn't Stop Halloween in Ellicott City

Yesterday was Hurricane Sandy, bur for the kids, tomorrow is Halloween.

And despite power outages, downed trees and one giant sewer overflow, Halloween will go on in the Historic District.

"Unless something really unexpected crops up it's a go," said Howard County Tourism's Ed Lilley.

Wednesday will mark the 29th year that Main Street merchants open their doors to families looking for a unique trick-or-treating experience.

Kids can trick-or-treat at many of the District’s downtown shops Wednesday from 4 – 6 p.m. 

Sponsored by the Ellicott City Business Association, Halloween in the Historic District is free and open to everyone.
