The Howard County Special Education Community Advisory Committee (SECAC) is looking for nominations for its annual Recognition Night celebration. Friends of Patapsco Valley and Heritage Greenway hosts its annual meeting Tuesday, April 5 at the . The group is hosting Dr. Henry K. Sharp, author of The Patapsco River Valley: Cradle of the Industrial Revolution in Maryland. Sharp will discuss Ellicott City's role in the history of the industrial revolution. The meeting starts at 7 p.m., but if you haven't preregistered online, you can do so at 6:45 p.m.
