Ellicott City Today: September 27

Head into the day a little more informed.

There's more rain in the forecast today as the National Weather Service reports an 80 percent chance of showers and maybe a thunderstorm. Temperatures should reach about 77 degrees. It's the same story this evening, but temperatures should drop to about 63 degrees.

Do you have a student in the Mt. Hebron Marching Band? We want to highlight the band's performance at College Park this weekend. If you're interested in getting the kids' performance on Patch, send pictures and/or video to brandie@patch.com.

Register by Thursday for the Howard County Commission on Disability Issues 17th Annual Awards Ceremony. The ceremony will be held Oct. 6 at the Bain Center and is free to the public. To RSVP or to request accommodations, contact Erica Lewis at 410-313-6402 or at ealewis@howardcountymd.gov. People who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability use Relay or 711.
