Head into the day a little more informed.

We may see rain today, and in any event, expect skies to be cloudy and cool. The National Weather Service is forecasting a high temperature of 73 degrees with north winds. Tonight temperatures should drop to a cool 45 degrees.

Women looking to live more balanced, healthy and fulfilled lives can visit seminars, interactive demonstrations and participate in health screenings today at WomenFest, sponsored by the Howard County Office on Aging. The event is from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Gary J Arthur Community Center at Glenwood, 2400 Route 97 in Cooksville.

Stay alert if your commute takes you on MD Route 175. Crews are scheduled to be cleaning and painting on both sides of the roadway all day from Thunder Hill Road to Columbia Gateway Drive.
