Howard County government offices, courts and animal shelter will be closed Monday, Oct. 10 in observance of Columbus Day. Trash and recycling services will remain on their normal schedule and the landfill will be open. The Howard Transit and Connect-A-Ride Bus services will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
